Ampersand Education partners with organizations to identify, plan, and lead the implementation of strategic initiatives and campaigns that accomplish specific organizational goals. This is the most diverse part of our work and has allowed us to work on projects ranging from building citywide talent pipelines to crafting city-based facilities strategies to supporting the creation of non-traditional grant-making initiatives to incentivize best practices.

This work is often multi-phasic and begins with research and assessment of landscape opportunities, followed by comprehensive research on possible tactics and implementation strategies. We then begin the work of building the necessary partnerships, developing needed resources, and supporting the early stages of work on the ground.

Our Work in Action

Ampersand Education partnered with Houston Endowment to develop a talent investment strategy for teachers and leaders in Harris County. The project included intensive project management, quantitative and qualitative analysis, literature review, and facilitation amongst multiple national and regional funders. By providing extra capacity to an organization leading the charge on talent strategy in Houston, Ampersand Education became a critical partner in meeting the collective group's objectives.
